Naturaleza Versus Crianza En El Ciclo Del Abuso Doméstico en Te Doy Mis Ojos

I wrote this paper for my Spanish Film Studies course analyzing the cyclical nature of domestic abuse in Icíar Bollaín’s, Te Doy Mis Ojos. In this paper, I analyzed the portrayed horrors of domestic violence in the film and critically discussed how the director’s portrayal of domestic violence ultimately alludes to an overarching commentary about its role in Spanish society, as well as the psychological complexities behind domestic violence. This analysis strengthened my ability to critically analyze and discuss narratives in a greater societal and historical context. As it pertains to my future career in healthcare, these skills will allow me to employ a more holistic approach when it comes to a patient’s health by approaching a conversation with the intent to understand the whole story.

Creer Ciegamente Es Que Vivir una Vida Sin Sentido

I wrote this paper for my 20th Century Spanish Literature course. In this paper I discussed the roles of the different characters in Miguel de Unamuno’s San Manuel Bueno, Mártir and how their portrayal contributes to the theme of the novel. I analyzed each character in the context of the theme that “to believe blindly is to lead a life without meaning” and made connections to the overall societal context in which Unamuno wrote the novel. This analysis enhanced my capacity to critically examine and contextualize literature within broader societal and historical frameworks. In my future healthcare career, these skills will enable me to adopt a more comprehensive approach to patient care by engaging in conversations that aim to uncover the full story behind their health.
