ABOUT ME

My name is Mary Bian and I am from Seattle, Washington. In May of 2025, I will graduate from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Language and International Health, with a Spanish emphasis. After graduation, I plan to continue my academic career by attending Medical School.
From a young age, I was already decided on my career path in medicine, but it was not until later that I discovered my interest for the Spanish language and culture. The Language and International Health program at Clemson University not only coupled what I was already passionate about, but opened my eyes to what health truly is, on an individual, national, and even global level. It was always important to me that I could take what I learned in the classroom and apply it in the real world. I got to experience this application when I studied abroad in Spain for a semester. My experience as a Language and International Health major at Clemson University has provided me with invaluable experiences that I will carry on into my future in healthcare and a community that extends from the classroom to the other side of the world.
