During my time abroad in Toledo, I had the opportunity to be apart of a research team conducting research at the National Paraplegic Hospital of Spain. This research project was dedicated to understanding the effects of cervical trauma. Specifically, how a cervical trauma like whiplash affects an individual's pain response.
